AC/DC "Black Ice" Tour Tickets: Across the USA!

These are good times to be an AC/DC fan looking for AC/DC tickets. The Aussie super-heavies recently resumed the USA leg of their "Black Ice World Tour" with added dates. The AC/DC schedule was already charged up to the max, but more gigs in Atlanta (23, October '09), with additional fresh dates planned for Mexico and Puerto Rico. The American leg of "Black Ice" will end in Orlando, Florida on November 19, and by then the mad rockers will have been selling AC/DC tickets and touring for over a year! Not bad for a band that, until last October, hadn't toured for 5 years. The band also completed the Canadian leg of "Black Ice" recently, with stops in Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton and Vancouver, where AC/DC's final Canadian show took place. Black Ice tour tickets have been one of the year's biggest hits, and one glimpse of these guys in action makes you see why. "Black Ice" is the group's first studio album in almost a decade, and has been hugely anticipated by heavy rockers the world over. The album debuted at No. 1 in 29 countries, proving that rock mastery never dies. Ac/DC tickets are certainly all about that and then some, and this tour has silenced the doubters. AC are back, dudes, and they're wearin' black!

The album has been produced and mixed by the talented duo Brendan O'Brien and Mike Fraser, and AC/DC has been sure to let everyone know that this disc rocks!

AC/DC Tickets and Tour. Plus More!

OK, we all need to calm down here, because the news is that AC/DC is gonna announce more date for their AC/DC tour later in the year! But that's not all; among the biggest news yet, is that Metallica tickets are about to go onsale, too! The biggest news I'm saving till last, though; Led Zeppelin, the guys who started it all off, are gonna hit the road in 2009. You should be thinking about buying Led Zeppelin tickets sometime very soon. Led Zep tickets won't be on the shelf forever, let me tell you. Hopefully there'll be enough Zep tickets to go round, but somehow I doubt it...good luck!

ACDC Tour on the Horizon

AC/DC Information

While strumming an air guitar on one leg and awkwardly scooting across your rug to the sounds of Brian Johnson’s scratchy wail, one can’t help but imagine a barrage of screaming fans. Wiping the sweat from your forehead you can’t decide which hit AC/DC song you want to mimic next. On one hand “Dirty Deeds” is so freakin’ bad ass, on the other “For Those About to Rock We Salute You” makes you feel like you’re skipping on stage to a crowd of thousands. Giving up, you decide to make a marathon of it, after all, all the records AC/DC have released drip with ear titillating chords and reverberations strong enough to wrack your spine.

Who doesn’t think that pairing a dress suit with shorts and knee socks or a cabbie hat with tight jeans and a black tank spell out pure rock and roll? AC/DC, a hard rock band hailing from Australia has been the definition of cool hardcore since Angus and Malcolm Young’s formation of the band in the 70’s. Most fans would be surprised to know that during the band’s conception members took on a glam-rock style and often wore super hero costumes on stage. During the bands huge commercial success beginning in the late 70’s and early 80’s AC/DC went through a bunch of lineup changes mostly due to the death of original front man Bon Scott.

With their cast of characters in place, including Brian Johnson doing vocals, Angus Young on lead guitar, Malcolm Young on guitars, Cliff Williams on bass and Simon Wright on drums, AC/DC took the world by storm. Angus Young fondly recounts Bon Scott’s eerie recollections of seeing his replacement, Brian Johnson, live with his previous band before his death, "I remember Bon playing me Little Richard, and then telling me the story of when he saw Brian singing." He said about that night,” There’s this guy up there screaming at the top of his lungs and then the next thing you know he hits the deck. He's on the floor, rolling around and screaming. I thought it was great, and then to top it off—you couldn't get a better encore—they came in and wheeled the guy off!”

It was that screaming powerful voice that brought the power surge to AC/DC’s fame. With hits like “Dirty Deed’s,” “It’s a Long Way to The Top,” and “Highway to Hell” AC/DC’s music has proliferated film, TV and the minds of a huge amount of people across the world. As a time-resistant source of electric sound AC/DC is sure to jolt any tired dud into an energetic powerhouse! Rumor has it that AC/DC is in the final stages of their follow up album to the 2000 release of “Stiff Upper Lip” so expect them to go on tour soon. You can check back here on how to score the best AC/DC tickets around, so be on the look out!
